2026 Policies

    • A late cancellation is any session canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment.

    • Arriving more than 15 minutes late will be considered a late cancellation.

    • Late cancellations, late arrivals over 15 minutes, and no-shows incur a $100 fee (not billable to insurance).

    • Sessions canceled more than 48 hours in advance are not charged.

    • If a client cancels three (3) sessions within a two-month period, their standing weekly time slot will be released. The therapist will discuss alternative recurring times or a floating schedule.

By scheduling services at AVID Intimacy, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

  • Estimated Cost of Services (Per Session)

AVID Intimacy clinicians’ rates are based on licensure, training, and areas of specialization.

    • Individual, Couples, or Relationship Therapy (50–55 minutes):
      $165 – $210 per session

Your clinician’s specific rate is listed on the AVID Intimacy website under their individual bio and is reviewed with you at the start of therapy.

This estimate reflects per-session costs only and does not represent the total cost of care.

    Frequency & Duration of Services

    • Sessions are typically scheduled weekly or bi-weekly, though frequency may vary.

    • The total number of sessions depends on your goals, needs, and progress in therapy.

Because psychotherapy is individualized, AVID Intimacy cannot predict the exact total cost or duration of treatment in advance.

Insurance, Courtesy Benefits Checks & Financial Responsibility

AVID Intimacy may provide courtesy insurance benefit checks as a service to clients. These checks are informational only and are not a guarantee of coverage or payment. Final benefit determinations are made solely by your insurance carrier.

It is the client’s responsibility to independently verify insurance coverage, including but not limited to:

    • In-network or out-of-network status

    • Deductibles and co-insurance

    • Session limits

    • Pre-authorization or referral requirements

Clients are financially responsible for all services rendered, including charges that are denied, delayed, applied to a deductible, or otherwise not covered by insurance.

Your Rights Under the No Surprises Act
