I help individuals and couples navigate identity shifts, relationships, sex or intimacy issues, mood disorders, and trauma by using approaches that integrate both skills and awareness of self. I often incorporate CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, sex therapy, or somatic techniques to address and improve emotional, physical and sexual well-being, supporting holistic healing for all.

I believe you guide our work and I’m here to collaborate with you to shape our therapeutic process to meet our goals. Therapy is unique to each person, giving me the  opportunity to familiarize myself with your needs, your strengths and how we can lean on those strengths to help us meet your therapeutic needs. As an Algerian-American, I understand how complex human identities are, so I approach our work by using a strengths-based systemic lens  to identify and deepen my understanding of you and your experiences. My approach is collaborative and gentle yet direct, always honoring your pace. I bring my whole self, lived experience, and humor to the therapeutic journey. I lean on mindfulness, compassion, and mind-body connection to guide the healing process.

I have a background in perinatal care, specifically in pregnancy, postpartum, and fertility treatment. Due to this, I am also interested in working with individuals and couples who are navigating the intersection of these experiences and intimacy or sex.

I earned a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Master’s of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University, where I received specialized clinical training in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and integrative systemic therapy. In addition to my training, I have worked as a sexual assault/intimate partner violence advocate. To further support my clinical work, I have pursued certifications in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) and yoga (YTT 200).
